Surface Mesh Proximity Size Level

A value of zero (default) means this feature is disabled. The practical range of size level is between zero and four. The mesh is refined such that the local size in thin areas is approximately Surface mesh proximity size level times smaller than the minimum gap distance. It should be noted that the sizing is approximate and resulting mesh sizes vary. This feature improves shape metric quality of volume elements in undetected thin sections or where the specified mesh size is not optimal. Without the feature, high aspect ratio or poor skew elements may not be eliminated afterwards during optimization and smoothing due to additional constraints imposed on the bad elements.
