Subtract Solids

Use the Boolean: Subtract tool to carve out one set of solids from another set of solids.

When you select the Boolean: Subtract tool, a guide bar appears that enables you to select two sets of solid entities. The set of entities doing the carving are called tools, and the set of entities being carved are called targets. In order to produce meaningful results, the two sets of solid entities must intersect.
