Toolbelts

Get quick access to the tools on the ribbon using toolbelts.

Inspire includes toolbelts to help you quickly access the tools you need as an alternative to using the ribbon. You can use the toolbelts with the default configuration of tools, or you can customize the toolbelts by adding and removing tools as required.

To open a toolbelt, hold down both the appropriate shortcut keys and the right mouse button to access the quick menu (the tools on the circular ring). Then drag through a tool with the right mouse button to select it. To access the full toolbelt, hold down the appropriate shortcut keys as you right-click, then left-click a tool to select it.

  • Alt + RMB: Geometry toolbelt
  • Shift + Alt + RMB: Structures toolbelt
  • Ctrl + Alt + RMB: Motion toolbelt
  • Ctrl + Alt + Shift + RMB: PolyNURBS toolbelt
