Modify an item in a union. The union may contain multiple multi-level unions. Parts
inside unions can be edited directly, as an example, changing the height of a cuboid. When
more complex editing is required (setting properties on faces), the part should be copied
out, edited and placed back into the union.
-
In the model tree, find the relevant union that you want to
edit.
-
Under the union, select the part that you want to edit.
-
From the right-click context menu, select Copy
(duplicate).
-
Edit the duplicate part.
-
In the model tree, drag the modified part back into the
union of Step 2.
-
From the right-click context menu, select
Replace.
You can replace a part with a completely different part. For example, replace
a cuboid with a flare or sphere.
