ODBC

ODBC is an acronym for Open Database Connectivity; a method of data access widely used by database applications. ODBC allows an application to access data from a remote database that may not otherwise be accessible via the application’s native file system environment. Monarch Classic can use ODBC to import and join data from any ODBC compliant database for which the user’s system has established an ODBC connection.
