Some important criteria should be met for forming simulations using LS-DYNA. Follow these guidelines for better accuracy:

Warpage should be less than 30
Avoid zero-length elements
Larger Jacobian values are better. Eliminate negative Jacobian values to prevent solver crashes.
Maintain connectivity
Remove duplicate elements

To identify failed elements and display only those that failed the element quality check, follow these steps:

1.Set up element quality. From the Checks pull down menu, select Check Elements.
2.Click the criteria you want to check. For example, use the Warpage macro to check element warpage. Any element that fails the element quality check will be highlighted on the screen.
3.Click save failed. The failed elements will be saved in a user mark.
4.Turn off the display for all elements.
5.From the Edit pull down menu, select find. Select the find entities option, click elems, and select retrieve from the pop-up window. Then click find to display only the failed elements on the screen.
6.From the Check Elems panel, click connectivity to display more elements that are attached to the failed elements.
