You can reference triggers on transitions or in states.
To reference the trigger on the transition
1. Click over the transition to highlight it in purple; then right-click and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
•Under Available Triggers, select the trigger and click Add.
•The trigger is added to the Selected Trigger window and the Edit Action window.
2. Click OK, or press ENTER.
To reference the trigger in the state
1. Point to the Header portion of the state and right-click.
2. Click the Activity Manager tab.
3. Under Actions, select On Trigger.
4. Under Available Triggers, select the trigger and click Add Action.
5. In the Selected Actions window, the On Trigger action is displayed.
In the Edit Action, the trigger is displayed.
6. Edit the code.
7. Click OK, or press ENTER.
