The 2021 release includes these highlights:
•Apache Kafka support. Apache Kafka® is a distributed streaming platform that lets you:
•Publish and subscribe to streams of records, similar to a message queue or enterprise messaging system.
•Store streams of records in a fault-tolerant durable way.
•Process streams of records as they occur.
Embed introduces the Kafka Consumer and Kafka Producer blocks for reading messages from and publishing messages to one or more Kafka topics.
•Click of the mouse to clear data from displays and plots.
•Adjustable windows for state, composite state, and submachine state elements.
Additionally, numerous diagrams have been added and modified to highlight new features in Embed. The complete list of new features is in the table below. Code Generation features are included in Embed and Embed Basic, but not Embed SE.
