The Models given as
MODEL statement are for SPICE devices like diodes, bipolars
and mosfet transistor.
The MODEL statement
give the parameters for a specific component. The behavior of the devices are defined by equation already embed in the HYPERSPICE simulator,
only the parameters need to be given by foundries to finish specifying the
component's electrical characteristics.
SPICE is originally
a text-only interface. A model is referred as the name given in the MODEL
statement.
