Configuring Server Logs

The Panopticon Visualization Server is preconfigured with recommended logging settings for performance. All of the logging will be directed to a file prefixed by panopticon in the Tomcat log folder (C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 9.0\logs). The Panopticon-specific logging configuration file is located inside the .warfile at WEB-INF/classes/logging.properties. This configuration takes precedence over the general Tomcat logging configuration. If the logging is to be configured in Tomcat, the file WEB-INF/classes/logging.properties  must be removed from the .war  file.
