Trim

Trims all leading and trailing spaces from a string.

Trimming Data

1. You can either:

• • right-click on a Text field

  • click the drop down of a Text field

then select Clean > Trim in the context menu that displays.

The leading and trailing spaces are removed.

Example: Description is the original column and Description Trimmed shows the trimmed data.
