Tibco StreamBase CEP

The StreamBase CEP connector allows connection to the StreamBase CEP engine instance on a real-time streaming basis. 

To use the Streambase connector, either Streambase 7.1 or the Streambase 7.1 .NET redistributable, must be installed.

Using Tibco StreamBase CEP

1. When creating a new data table, select StreamBase 7.1 from the Connect to data dialog. The StreamBase Connection dialog displays.

   

2. Enter or set the following:

1. • Primary URL

   • Secondary URL

   NOTE: More than two StreamBase server URLs can be specified by comma separation.

   • Username

   • Password

   • Stream Selection

   • Predicate Specification

   • Time zone

3. Click Fetch Streams to return a list of updated streams. Selection of a stream, returns a list of available ID columns for the stream.

4. Expand Real-Time Settings.

5. Click OK to confirm the selection and retrieve the record set into Panopticon Designer (Desktop).

Initially, there is no data displayed in the Data Source Preview section of the Edit Data Table window.

Click the Start Preview button to display the data and refresh the values depending on the defined Refresh Period.
