  • New in Altair Panopticon 2020.0

Introduction of a new web authoring paradigm, enabling all the functionality of Panopticon Designer within the web client of the Panopticon Visualization Server:

    • Manage and permission workbook repositories

    • Create and manage analytical data pipelines (query, subscribe, transform, federate, decorate)

    • Create and maintain analytical dashboards for polled-, streaming real-time and time-series data.

Other server improvements include:

    • New user roles; Viewer, Designer, Administrator

    • Granular workbook permissioning

    • New, decentralized, workbook repository with built in support for history, synchronization and clustering

    • Support for deployment on Open JDK 11 and up using provided dependency pack

Python Connectivity

    • 100-fold performance increase in Python connector and transform using Apache Arrow
