Panopticon Designer (Desktop) Backup

The Panopticon Designer (Desktop) consists of:

  • Software Installation

  • Configuration & License (Stored in the User Profile under APPDATA)

  • Example workbooks & Data (Stored in My Documents\Datawatch Desktop)

  • Workbooks (Stored on disk)

  • Caches (Stored in My Documents\Datawatch Desktop)

 

Typically backup is divided into the above sections. Workbook files are not locked when the Panopticon Designer (Desktop) is opened, ensuring that they can be backed up successfully on a regular basis.
