Possible Mechanism Lockup Conditions Encountered
Condition
The integrator was having trouble advancing during motion analysis for this model.
Cause
This could be due to a kinematic lockup condition or redundantly constrained model.
Remedy
- Try increasing the Output rate in the Run Motion Analysis Settings so you can better see what is happening right before the error occurs.
- Enable the controller option for motors and actuators, if it is currently not being used.
- Review joint definitions and introduce additional degrees of freedom by redefining connections, changing the joint type or state, or using spring forces to prevent the lockup or toggle conditions.
- Change the profile function, time, or duration parameters for motors and actuators, so that the motion is applied more gradually (or more rapidly, depending on what is happening).
- Try changing the Support behavior to Flexible (instead of Rigid) under the Advanced section of the Run Motion Analysis Settings.
