Adding a Dielectric

The material definition with the properties for Teflon is added to the model from the media library.

1. Open the Media library dialog using one of the following workflows:
   • On the Construct tab, in the Define group, click the  Media icon. From the drop-down list, select the  Media library icon.
   • On the model tree, click the icon. From the drop-down list, select Media > Media library.
   • On the model tree, open the right-click context menu on the Media group. From the drop-down list, select Media library.

     
     

     

     
     

The dielectric object will consist of the dielectric material, Teflon.

2. Type Teflon in the Filter editbox.

   
   

   

   
   

3. Click Add to model to add the dielectric from the media library to the CADFEKO model.
   After the dielectric is added to the model, it is displayed in the model tree under Dielectric.

   
   

   

   
   

4. Click Close to close the dialog.
