Periodic Boundary Conditions for FSS Characterisation

Calculate the transmission and reflection coefficients for a Jerusalem cross FSS (frequency selective surface) structure. The cross is modelled with a periodic boundary condition and is excited with an incident plane wave.

A basic optimisation setup is included with the example. The optimisation is added to determine the optimal geometrical parameters to maximise the reflection and minimise transmission at 8 GHz.
Tip: Change the frequency to a Single frequency at 8 GHz to perform the optimisation. Optimisation is not supported in conjunction with a continuous frequency range.
