Viewing the Results

View and post-process the results in POSTFEKO.

1. Compare the gain (in dB) of the requested far field pattern on a polar plot.

   Note: View the input gain pattern of the point source (labelled Reference). It is used as a reference and compared to the glass lens antenna solved with RL-GO and the hybrid FEM/MoM.

   Both the FEM/MoM and RL-GO solutions are in good agreement with one another. Observe the expected focussing of the electric fields in the main beam direction.

   Tip: The memory and runtime requirements for the RL-GO solution are orders of magnitude lower than that of the hybrid FEM/MoM solution.
