Description

General data for the run.

The filepath: project directory/Input_Files/Basic/general.dat .

Parameters

BAS_OR_ADV
(INTEGER)
Defined whether the run uses only the basic parameters or the advanced parameter, too.
1≤ BAS_OR_ADV≤2.
BAS_OR_ADV=1
Only the basic parameters are used in the run.
BAS_OR_ADV=2
The basic parameters and the advanced parameters are used in the run.
I_COR
(INTEGER)
Index for the number of soil input files.
1≤ I_COR ≤ 2.
I_COR=1
The terrain is described in the file soil_input_1.dat.
I_COR=2
The soil profile is described in NG files. This option allows a different description for each track group.
NMSC
(INTEGER)
Numerical method for the sinkage calculation:
NMSC=1
Iteration method.
NMSC=2
Newton-Raphson Method.
NMSC=3
Combination of the two previous methods.
NMSC=4
Halving interval method.
NMSC=5
Direct calculation method; valid for 2D riding only.
If NMSC<1 or NMSC>5, the value of NMSC is set to 2.
RADDEG
(INTEGER)
Radians or degrees.
If RADDEG=1, the input angle is given in radians.
If RADDEG=2, the input angle is given in degrees. This parameter is effective for any input angle.
R_CASE
(INTEGER)
The input report of the softsoil model. 0≥R_CASE≥2. The report prints to the model log file.
For R_CASE=0, the input is not reported.
For R_CASE=1, the input is partially reported.
For R_CASE=2, a full report is generated.
