Exporting Reports

After you create charts or reports, Envision allows you to export data from a visualization and then save the report page to PDF or PPT, or the complete report to PDF, PPT, or template formats. You can also configure a schedule for exporting reports in PPT and PDF formats.

Exporting a report page to pdf or ppt format

1.   On the toolbar, click the icon.

2.   Select Export and then select Page to select the page from which you want to export data.

    A message indicating the progress of the export is displayed.

3.   Select PDF or PPT.

4.   In the Opening <page name> dialog box, select Open with or Save file.

5.   Select the check box to configure the default setting for opening or saving the file.

    The page is downloaded in the specified format.

Exporting a report to pdf or ppt  format

1.   On the toolbar, click the icon.

2.   Select Export and then select Report to select the complete report from which you want to export data.

    A message indicating the progress of the export is displayed.

3.   Select PDF, PPT, or Template.

4.   In the Opening <report name> dialog box, select Open with or Save file.

5.   Select the check box to configure the default setting for opening or saving the file.

    The report is downloaded in the specified format.

• You will receive an email notification only when you select a complete report and not an individual page for exporting to PDF, PPT, or Template formats.
  A background process does the export (which may take some time if there is a lot of data) and a message is displayed once the CSV file is ready.
