Generate a Report

There are three general types of reports that you can generate with Monitor: a usage report, a denials report and a batch report, each with its own subset of reports:

Usage Report
Shows license utilization. There are eleven types of these reports.
Denials Report
Shows statistical information about denial events. This can be used to determine if you have too many or too few licenses.
Batch Report
Enables you to combine data and create static reports. The content is dynamic but you can set the parameters. This is useful when the report period is long or you want to see more than one report. Batch reports are persistent; the data they display reflects the time that they are built, and it remains available until the report files are deleted from the disk. They can be exported in HTML or .CVS files. Admin permissions are required to generate a batch report.

In the following examples, generating a usage report, a denials report and a batch report are explained.
