Minimum Gauge

When running topology optimization on a surface, minimum gauge constraints are used to avoid holes in the optimized part and help show where rib structures should be placed.

Use the Property Editor to define a minimum gauge.

1. Select a surface and press F3 to open the Property Editor.
2. Enable Use Minimum Gauge and enter a value.
3. Run topology optimization on the surface.
